Salesforce Delivery Manager- Contract

The Delivery Manager is instrumental in successfully overseeing the delivery of projects or products. Collaborating with a diverse team of professionals, including developers and designers, the Delivery Manager ensures on-time, within-budget, and quality completion of projects. This role involves end-to-end management, including planning, scheduling, risk management, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule the delivery process, defining project scope, milestones, and timelines.

  • Manage budget and resources, allocating tasks to team members to keep the project on track.

  • Identify and manage delivery risks, creating contingency plans for potential issues.

  • Communicate with stakeholders, ensuring everyone is informed about delivery progress.

  • Track progress and make adjustments to keep the delivery on schedule.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and support.

  • Collaborate with clients or stakeholders to meet their needs and expectations.

  • Lead and manage a team of developers, QA, project managers, and other key profiles.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related discipline.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in delivery management or project management.

  • Strong understanding of project management principles.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • 2-3 years of experience with Salesforce, specifically Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.

Agile Role: The Delivery Manager plays a crucial role in managing the delivery using Agile principles and methodologies. Responsibilities include leading the Agile team, planning and scheduling using Agile practices, tracking progress, facilitating regular meetings, and ensuring adherence to Agile values and principles.
