As a Salesforce Architect, you will dive into the intricacies of our existing Salesforce implementation, propose strategic enhancements, and meticulously document structural and procedural changes. Your focus on aligning solutions with architectural best practices and company goals will be crucial in elevating performance and driving revenue growth.
Salesforce Architect Duties and Responsibilities
· Conduct a thorough evaluation of the current Salesforce implementation, emphasizing architectural considerations.
· Define objectives to elevate and optimize system architecture and processes.
· Assess company performance metrics, data structures, and information formats.
· Author comprehensive system architecture specifications and ensure their effective distribution.
· Monitor and report on the progress of architectural changes, tracking developments.
· Develop procedures to enhance and optimize existing system architecture, adhering to best practices.
· Research and evaluate Salesforce complementary applications, providing strategic recommendations.
· Provide architectural guidance, contributing to the planning and implementation of robust business solutions.
· Document and generate reports on the architectural effectiveness of systems.
· Propose recommendations for new system developments based on architectural principles.
· Collaborate in analyzing and interpreting Apex Classes, Jobs, and Triggers from an architectural perspective.
· Translate complex architectural data for effective presentation to other team members.
· Develop comprehensive guides for architectural updates and training documentation.
· Present key architectural insights to Client Business and IT teams for continuous improvement.
· Estimate and establish effort requirements for architectural enhancements.
Salesforce Architect Requirements and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related IT field; a master's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
· Minimum of two years of prior experience in a Salesforce architectural role.
· Proficiency in computer skills, including analytical and documentation tools (Visio, Excel, LucidChart, etc.) and various Salesforce products.
· Ability to design and implement architectural solutions, including the creation of Visualforce pages and Apex Triggers.
· Capacity to analyze system architecture and effectively translate architectural data.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with solid communication abilities across all levels of management.
· Strong multitasking abilities, prioritization skills, and efficient time management.
· Self-motivated and able to work independently.
· Experience with Agile methodology is a plus.
